1. What Dang handles
Dang reads Korean text displayed on webpages and transforms that text in place according to the user’s selected speech style settings. Website content is processed locally in the browser on the user’s device.
2. Settings storage
Dang stores the selected speech preset, application rate, random mode state, and onboarding completion state using Chrome Storage. These settings are stored only to preserve the extension’s preferences and behavior.
3. No sale, transfer, or sharing
Dang does not sell, share, or transfer website content or extension settings to third parties. Dang does not use handled data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
4. No remote code
Dang only uses JavaScript files packaged inside the extension itself. It does not download or execute remote JavaScript or Wasm code.
